πŸ“Exercises

Exercises are the individual activities talents complete during an evaluation. They can be case studies, role plays, presentations, group discussions, and more.

Create a New Exercise:

Creating exercises is similar to creating other content in evaluate worx.

How to create an exercise:

  1. Click on Exercises in the left menu under "Settings".

  2. Click the blue + Exercise button.

  3. Enter the exercise details in the form:
    - Exercise name
    - Exercise description
    - Organization the exercise belongs to
    - Exercise Type (select from available types)
    - Phase (when the exercise takes place in the evaluation and its length)
    - Choose if the exercise in an Evergreen Exercise (so that it is never blocked by a countdown)
    - Choose if you want to hide the exercise from the ratings when it is taken into a matrix

  4. Click Save.

Your exercise is now created and can be added to evaluations.

Configure Exercise Settings

After creating an exercise, you can refine its settings.

How to configure an exercise:

  1. Search for and click on your exercise to open it.

  2. Navigate to the Settings tab.

  3. Configure the elements you want to change or modify.

  4. Click Save.

Add Documents to an Exercise

Many exercises require supporting materials like case studies, role play scenarios, or presentation topics.

How to add documents:

  1. In the exercise view, navigate to the Documents tab.

  2. Click on the blue +Add Document button on the top left.

  3. Enter the name of the document and select a file to enter it to the system.

  4. Documents will then be available as configured.

Configure Indicators

Indicators define the basis upon which performance in an exercise is evaluated.

How to configure indicators:

  1. In the exercise view, navigate to the score ranges section.

  2. Click on the blue button +Indicator on the top left.

  3. Enter the respective text for a positive and negative indicator in the desired language.

  4. Click on Create.

Indicators will be used when evaluators evaluate talent performance in this exercise.

Modify Existing Exercises

You can edit exercises at any time to update content or settings.

How to modify an exercise:

  1. Go to Exercises in the left menu.

  2. Click on the exercise name you want to edit.

  3. Make your changes in any of the tabs (Settings, Documents, Indicators).

  4. Click Save.

⚠️Important: If you modify an exercise that's already assigned to an active evaluation, the changes will apply to that evaluation. Be cautious when editing exercises currently in use.


βš–οΈRating Scales

Rating scales define how evaluators score and evaluate talent performance. Each organization can have customized rating scales that match their evaluation structure.

Create a New Rating Scale

Rating scales are created at the Settings level and can be assigned to evaluations.

How to create a rating scale:

  1. Click on Rating Scales in the left menu under "Settings".

  2. Click the blue + New Rating Scale button.

  3. In the form that appears, enter:
    - Name
    - Organization

  4. Click Create.
    ​

  5. To add ratings, click on the blue button Add Rating.

  6. You can then enter a short label for the rating and a long one underneath in the language of choice.

  7. You can choose the color of your specific rating.

  8. Click Save.

Your rating scale is now complete and can be assigned to evaluations.

The Orders section displays evaluation requests that have been submitted by clients or external parties.

How to view orders:

  1. Click on Orders in the left menu.

  2. View all evaluation orders that have been placed.

  3. Review order details.

  4. Use order information to create and configure the corresponding evaluation.

Orders help you track incoming evaluations requests and ensure timely delivery.

How to access the papilio Framework:

  1. Click on papilio Framework in the left menu under "Super User".

  2. Explore the framework:
    - View all competencies and sub-competencies
    - See how competencies are organized hierarchically
    - Reference definitions and behavioral indicators
