πŸ‘οΈ During the Evaluation

Effective evaluations happens in the moment - when behaviors are fresh and examples are clear. That's why evaluate worx gives you intuitive tools to document observations as they happen.

With evaluate worx, you can take structured notes during each exercise, rate competencies immediately after observing performance, and track progress throughout the assessment day. Whether you're evaluating a single talent or multiple candidates, the platform keeps your observations organized and accessible, so you can focus on the people in front of you rather than administrative tasks.

How it works:

Follow the evaluation schedule, taking detailed notes during each exercise using the Schedule & Notes feature. After each exercise, rate the talent's performance on specific competencies using Observation Sheets. Log progress as you go to track completion status. Everything is captured digitally and saved automatically, giving you a complete evidence base for the final report.

πŸ“ Taking Notes During Exercises

During the evaluation, you'll take notes on each exercise as it happens. These notes capture your observations and form the evidence base for your ratings and report.

Access the Schedule and Take Notes

The Schedule & Notes section shows you the evaluation timeline and provides a place to record observations for each exercise.

How to access and take notes:

  1. Click on Evaluate in the left menu.

  2. Click on Schedule & Notes.

  3. You'll see a table displaying:
    - Time: When each exercise takes place
    - Activity: The name of the exercise
    - Phase: What phase of assessment (Individual Preparation, Execution, Debriefing)
    - Room: Where the exercise happens
    - Talent: Which talent is being observed

  4. Each exercise has a folder icon πŸ“‚ next to it.

  5. Click the folder icon for the exercise you want to take notes on.

  6. A notes interface will open where you can type your observations.

  7. Write your detailed observations and evidence as the exercise unfolds.

  8. Save your notes regularly during or immediately after the exercise.

What to include in your notes:

  • Specific behaviors you observe

  • Interactions with others (in group exercises)

  • Strengths you notice

  • Areas for development

  • Anything notable or surprising

πŸ’‘ Tip: Take notes in real-time or immediately after each exercise while observations are fresh. The more specific and evidence-based your notes, the easier it will be to write the final report

⭐ Rating Talents on Competencies

After each exercise, you'll rate the talent on the specific competencies assessed in that exercise. These ratings reflect what you observed and noted.

Provide Ratings in Observation Sheets

Observation Sheets allow you to rate each competency for each exercise.

How to rate competencies:

  1. Click on Evaluate in the left menu.

  2. Click on Observation Sheets.

  3. You'll see a list of exercises conducted in the evaluation.

  4. For each exercise, you'll see the competencies being assessed.

  5. Click on a competency to open the rating interface.

  6. Provide your rating based on your observations:
    - Use the rating scale configured for this evaluation
    - Base your rating on the evidence you captured in your notes
    - Consider the talent's performance specifically in this exercise

  7. Save your rating.

  8. Repeat for all competencies in each exercise.

Rating best practices:

  • Rate immediately after each exercise (or during breaks)

  • Refer to your notes for evidence

  • Be consistent in how you apply the rating scale

  • Remember that different exercises may show different levels of competency

  • Don't let one strong or weak moment overshadow the overall performance

⚠️ Important: Rate each competency separately for each exercise. These individual exercise ratings will be consolidated later into final ratings

πŸ”„ Logging Exercise Progress

The Log & Reset section allows you to track which exercises have been completed and reset progress if needed.

Track Exercise Completion

  5. For each exercise, you'll see the phases:
    - Individual Preparation: Status indicator (not started yet / in progress / completed)
    - Execution: Status indicator
    - Debriefing: Status indicator

  6. This helps you track what has been completed and what's still pending.
