Prepare for successful assessments by understanding your role and reviewing all materials. As an evaluator, thorough preparation ensures you can observe effectively, capture meaningful insights, and provide valuable feedback to talents.

🚀Evaluator Overview

As an Evaluator, you play a critical role in the evaluation process. Your observations, ratings, and insights help organizations make informed decisions and provide talents with meaningful feedback for their development.

Assessment centers are most effective when evaluators are prepared, attentive, and thoughtful in their observations. evaluate worx gives you the tools to capture your observations efficiently and translate them into valuable reports.

How it works:

Access your assigned evaluations, switch to the evaluator role, and familiarize yourself with the assessment structure. Review all preparation materials including exercise instructions, talent pre-tasks, and supporting documents. Everything you need is organized in one place, so you can approach the assessment day with clarity and confidence.

What you can do as an Evaluator:

  • Access evaluations you're assigned to

  • Review evaluation schedules and exercise materials

  • Take detailed notes during each exercise

  • Rate talents on specific competencies per exercise

  • Collaborate with other evaluators on final ratings

  • Write comprehensive evaluation reports

  • Release finalized reports to clients

The evaluation workflow:

A typical evaluation follows this sequence:

  1. Prepare: Review the evaluation, schedule, and exercise materials

  2. Observe: Take notes during each exercise as it happens

  3. Rate: Provide competency ratings after each exercise in observation sheets

  4. Consolidate: Agree on final ratings with other evaluators

  5. Report: Write the comprehensive assessment report with evidence and recommendations

  6. Finalize: Review, approve, and release the report to the client

🚀Getting Started as an Evaluator

Switch to Evaluator Role

If you have multiple roles in evaluate worx, you'll need to switch to the Evaluator role to access your assigned evaluations.

You'll now see your evaluator interface with all assigned evaluations.

Alternative method:

  1. Click on the tab in the lower-left corner of the screen.

  2. Select your organization from the options.

You'll be directed to the Dashboard page so that you can select the Evaluator interface


📋 Accessing Your Evaluations

Once you've switched to the Evaluator role, you'll see a list of all evaluations you're assigned to, organized by timeline.

View Your Assigned Evaluations

Evaluations are grouped into three categories to help you prioritize your work:

  1. After switching to Evaluator role, you'll see the Evaluation Processes page.

  2. Evaluations are organized in expandable sections:
    - More than 10 days from now: Upcoming evaluations you can prepare for
    - Current: Evaluations happening now or very soon (this section is expanded by default)
    - Older than 30 days: Past evaluations you’ve completed

  3. Each evaluation displays:
    - Talent(s): The name(s) of the talent(s) being evaluated
    - Evaluation Process: The name of the evaluation
    - Date: When the evaluation takes place
    - Organization: Which organization the evaluation belongs to

Open an Evaluation

To start working on an evaluation, simply click on its name.

How to open an evaluation:

  1. Locate the evaluation in the appropriate time section.

  2. Hover over the evaluation name (in the "Evaluation Processes" column).

  3. Click on the evaluation name to open it.

You’ll now see the detailed evaluation interface where you can prepare, observe, rate, and write reports


📂Evaluation Interface Overview

Once you open an evaluation, you'll see a comprehensive interface organized into sections on the left menu and detailed views on the right.

Left Menu Structure

The left menu is organized into key areas.

Dashboard:

  • Return to the overview and choose your role as an evaluator or Content Manager

Home

  • Quick access to the list of available evaluations

Prepare: Access materials and preparation resources:

  • Documents

  • Talents Pre-Tasks

  • Exercises

Evaluate: Core evaluation functions (expanded during evaluation)

  • Schedule & Notes

  • Observation Sheets

  • Final Ratings

  • Write Report

  • Log & Reset


📄 Accessing Documents and Reports

Before, during, and after the evaluation, you'll need access to various documents and reports.

View Available Documents

From the Home screen, you can access all key documents related to the evaluation.

How to access documents:

  1. Click on Home in the left menu.

  2. Under Select Talent, choose the talent you want to view (if multiple talents are in the evaluation).

  3. Under Documents, you'll see available items:
    - Final Report: Click PDF to download the finalized report or click Interactive to view the report in an interactive format;
    - Notes: Click PDF to download all notes taken during the evaluation
    - Matrix with final ratings: Click PDF to download the competency rating matrix

  4. Scroll down to see:
    - Global Documents: Documents available for all talents
    - Uploaded Documents: Any additional material uploaded by the Content Manager

💡Tip: Make sure to review the final report before releasing it to catch any errors or areas that need refinement


🎯Preparing for the Evaluation

Preparation is essential for effective evaluation. Familiarize yourself with the schedule, exercises, and talents before the evaluation begins.

Review Preparation Materials

Access all materials you need to prepare for the evaluation.

How to access Preparation Materials:

  1. Click on Prepare in the left menu (with the magic wand icon).

  2. You'll see three subsections:

Documents:

  • Click on Documents to see:
    - Exercise materials
    - Briefing documents
    - Instructions for evaluators
    - Any other uploaded resources

Talent Pre-Tasks:

  • Click on Talents Pre-Tasks to view:
    - Pre-tasks completed by the talent before the evaluation
    - Results and performance on pre-evaluation exercises
    - This helps you understand the talent's baseline before live exercises

Exercises:

  • Click on Exercises to see:
    - List of all exercises in this evaluation
    - Exercise descriptions and instructions

  • Click on the blue Preview button to preview its content

  • Review what talents will be asked to do and what you should observe

💡Tip: Review all exercises before the evaluation day. Understanding what to observe in each exercise helps you take more focused, useful notes.
