Start Your 360° Feedback Process

Learn how to start a 360° feedback process as an employee user.


How it works:

A 360° feedback process is either initiated by

  • yourself or

  • by your HR on your behalf

This depends on your organization's preferences.

A 360° feedback process involves a template with defined competencies and questions which are answered by yourself as well as multiple feedback provider groups (e.g., Manager, Peers, Team etc.). The process has defined phases (upcoming, nomination, evaluation, buffer) and an end date.

✨ Start a 360° Feedback Process

1) Process set up by HR:

  1. Go to 360° Feedback under My Development in the left menu.

  2. Click the button 360° Feedback to me.

  3. There you see the process that was set up for you.

  4. Click ✏️ to add your feedback providers.

    • Select your feedback providers by typing a name or email address.

    • Click Add additional feedback providers to the system to add further feedback providers.

    • Click Save to save your changes

  5. Click ▶️ to start your self-perception.

    • Click Submit Feedback if you are finished.

⚠️ Note:

  • Your feedback providers will automatically receive an email inviting them to share their feedback--at a defined date already set by your HR.

  • You can conclude this defined date by checking the Current Phase and End of Current Phase, respectively (see below).

  • Here, you are currently in the nomination phase which ends on 18/05/2026. This means that the next phase (i.e., evaluation phase) starts at 19/05/2026. At this date, your feedback providers receive an invitation by email to provide feedback to you.

2) Process set up by yourself:

  1. Go to 360° Feedback under My Development in the left menu.

  2. Click the Start a 360° feedback process button.

  3. Choose a template.

    • This defines the questions that will guide the feedback process.

    • This defines which feedback provider groups are assigned.

    • The template is based on your organization's configuration.

  4. Select a Start date.

    • This date defines when you would like to start your process.

    • Based on this start date, a predefined schedule (by your HR) appears.

    • Your feedback providers get automatically invited on June 2nd, 2026, a day after the nomination phase ends.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Select your feedback providers by typing a name or email address.

    • Click Add additional feedback providers to the system to add further feedback providers.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Check the summary.

  9. Click Submit Request.

⚠️ Note: Once submitted, your feedback providers will automatically receive an email with a link - depending on the schedule based on the start date.


✅ Complete Your Self-Perception

As part of the 360° feedback process, you are asked to complete a self-perception - your own perspective on the questions in the template.

Steps to complete your self-perception:

  1. Go to 360° Feedback under My Development.

  2. Find your open process and click ▶️ (Start Feedback) under Actions to start.

  3. You will be directed straight to the self-evaluation form.

  4. Complete all required fields — fields marked optional can be left blank.

  5. Click Save if you want to store your progress and return later.

    • Saving keeps your input but does not submit the evaluation.

  6. Once all required fields are completed, click Submit Feedback to send it.

  7. Click Back to return to your 360° feedback overview.

⚠️ Note: Saving keeps your input but does not submit the self-perception. Therefore, you have to click Submit Feedback. After submission, no further changes can be made.


👥 Provide Feedback to Others in a 360° Feedback Process

You can also track the 360° feedback processes in which you have been invited as a feedback provider.

To view and manage feedbacks to others:

  1. Go to 360° Feedback under My Development.

  2. Click on the 360° Feedbacks to others tab.

  3. You will see the list of processes where you have been asked to provide feedback.

  4. On the right, click ✅ (Accept) to start the process or ❌ (Decline) to reject your participation.

  5. Complete the form and click Submit Feedback to send it.

⚠️ Note: After submission, no further changes can be made.
